I B Boys tornano con il nuovo album ‘Dudu’, disponibile per Captured Tracks dal 26 luglio.

‘Dudu’ dei B Boys è post-punk all’ennesima potenza, influenzato dalla controcultura degli anni ’80 e dalle band che hanno fatto grande la scena indipendente negli ultimi 40 anni. La band newyorkese composta da Andrew Kerr, Brendon Avalos e Britton Walker trae ispirazione dal caos infernale che li circonda nella loro New York. I B Boys sono un prodotto di New York, rabbioso, veloce e ironico proprio come gli abitanti della loro città.
‘Dudu’ è è il secondo album dei B Boys, seguito del precedente ‘Dada’ e dell’ottimo Ep d’esordio ‘No Worry No Mind’. Il nuopvo album è stato registrato da Gabe Wax (Deerhunter, Ought e Crumb) presso l’Outlier Inn e mixato da Andy Chugg (Pill, Pop. 1280, Bambara).
I B Boys hanno suonato ovunque in Europa e USA, aprendo per act del livello di Parquet Courts, Merchandise, Shame, Sunflower Bean e Thee Oh Sees. Fortemente influenzato dal sound di The Clash, Wire e Talking Heads, ‘Dudu’ ci regala una band in forma smagliante. Il brano ‘I Want’ vanta il featuring di Veronica Torres dei Pills.
