My week in Florence

I am Amandeep Plaha, i am visiting Florence from England to do work experience. I am 17 years old, I study Art and Design in college. This is my week in Florence:

On Monday I started to take photos for DeaPress Asoociation. I went around Florence with Sofia and captured pictures of different things, for example I took loads of pictures of buildings and people (people in action doing everyday things and working) also I captured a few pictures of animals. I really enjoyed taking pictures this day the weather was hot and the places around Florence were amazing.

Lunedi 'ho iniziato a scattare le foto per DeaPress. Sono andata in giro per Firenze con Sofia catturando immagini di cose diverse, per esempio ho fatto un sacco di foto di edifici e persone (le persone in azione che fanno le cose di tutti i giorni e di lavoro) e ho fatto un paio di foto agli animali. Mi è piaciuto molto fare foto, faceva caldo ed i luoghi intorno a Firenze sono sorprendenti.

On the Tuesday we went out again but we were told to take more pictures of people doing their daily routines. We came across many good shots of the people and I was really pleased about what I captured in the amount of time we were taking the photos. Later on that day in a group we went to take pictures of the artists in Florence, they were all sitting down painting, drawing pictures of buildings, people. We got nice shots of the artists while they were doing their art works.

Martedì siamo andati di nuovo in giro per catturare la routine quotidiana della gente per strada. Sono rimasta davvero soddisfatta di quello che ho catturato nella quantità di tempo in cui stavo prendendo le foto. Più tardi quel giorno in gruppo siamo andati a fotografare gli artisti di Firenze, erano tutti seduti a pitturare, disegnare le immagini di edifici e le persone. Abbiamo ottenuto belle foto degli artisti mentre stavano facendo le loro opere d'arte.

On Wednesday Silvana, our art director, took us out to botanical gardens, this was the first ever botanical gardens made in the world, it was beautiful and there was so much to see there. We saw exhibition for blind people where they had brail in front of each plant and they had the exhibition split in the four parts which were medicine, perfume, food and different leaves which people drew on back in the day, so they were textured and different. We took many photos of the different plants and different trees. It was a hot day so the pictures came out really well, the colors in the pictures looked amazing because of the sun.

Mercoledì Silvana, la nostra tutor, ci ha portato ai giardini botanici, questo è stato il primo giardino botanico in tutto il mondo, è stato bellissimo e c'era così tanto da vedere. Hanno anche la spiegazione con la tecnica brail per non vedenti ad ogni pianta e l'esposizione é divisa in quattro parti : medicine, profumi, cibo e foglie diverse . Abbiamo fatto molte foto a diverse piante e alberi. Era una giornata calda e le foto all'aperto sono venute molto bene, i colori nelle immagini sembravano incredibili grazie al sole.

On the Thursday and Friday we put all our favorite pictures on to a website of the shop and we described the pictures explaining what sort of things you will see around Florence if you visit there.

Giovedi e Venerdì abbiamo messo tutte le nostre foto preferite sul sito web dell'Associazione e abbiamo descritto le immagini spiegando cosa si può vedere visitando Firenze.
